What happens after I use the 20 free scans?
Your manually entered collection remains available. You can keep adding bottles manually or subscribe for 100 successful AI label scans each month.
Does a failed scan use one of my free scans?
No. A failed recognition attempt is not counted when Bottle Vault can verify the failure.
Can I add a label photo without using AI?
Yes. A manually entered bottle can still include a label photograph without using an AI scan.
Does Bottle Vault work for whiskey and other spirits?
Yes. Bottle Vault records wine, whiskey, and other spirits, including category-specific details such as proof, age statement, cask, batch, barrel, and bottle number.
Can another person help manage my collection?
Yes, with an eligible subscription. Viewers can browse. Editors can add, place, move, and document bottles without using your password.
Can I share only one cellar or cabinet?
Yes. View-only access can cover the entire active vault or only locations you select. Editors always collaborate across the whole vault.
Can I save a bottle I do not own yet?
Yes. Wishlist bottles stay separate from inventory, analytics, unplaced bottles, and vault value. You can later record one purchase with several vintages without another AI scan.
Can I import or export my collection?
Yes. Bottle Vault supports CSV import and export so you can move existing records in and keep a copy of your data.
Are the price and drinking-window suggestions guaranteed?
No. AI-generated details, retail estimates, and drinking windows are editable suggestions—not live market quotes, appraisals, or guarantees.
